Who funds the Authority
The Italian Competition Authority is financed by a mandatory contribution (0.059 per thousand in 2024) from companies incorporated in Italy whose turnover exceeds a threshold of 50 million euros.
The Authority’s financial statements have to be approved by 30 April of the following year, and are subject to auditing by the Court of Auditors.
