IP308-IP309 - ICA opens non-compliance proceedings against Ryanair and Wizz Air for failure to comply with interim measures

In its meeting today, the Italian Competition Authority decided to open two non- compliance proceedings against the airline companies Ryanair and Wizz Air, for failure to comply with the interim decision adopted by ICA on 31 October 2018.
More specifically, the surveys of Ryanair’s and Wizz Air’s websites, the statements filed by the two companies and the complaints by consumers show that Ryanair and Wizz Air have not abided by the ICA’s interim measures within the required deadline.
