Suspension of proceedings against Prime Minister until Regional AdministrativeTribunal rules on application by Senator Zanda
The Italian Competition Authority, at its meeting on 15 February 2006, decided to suspend the proceedings begun on 22 December 2005 under the law on conflict of interest against Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Dr. Paolo Berlusconi and the Mediaset, RTI and Solari companies. The Authority decided to await the outcome of an appeal lodged with the Regional AdministrativeTribunal by Senator Luigi Zanda against the denial of access by him to documents under the current procedural regulations.
