"I WON’T BITE!" contest: best participating schools and students selected in a joint project by the Antitrust Authority and MIUR

Awards ceremony led by President Catricalà on Sunday, October 10th


The winners of the "I WON’T BITE!" contest, organized by the Antitrust Authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, include 7 schools and 112 students.
Intended to promote the culture of competition and consumer protection among our younger generations, the project attracted 51 different school participants, 25 of which entered a total of 227 individual and group works in the contest.  
A total of 2,342 students (from primary and 1st and 2nd level secondary schools) took part in project-related lessons taught by Antitrust Authority functionaries.
President Antonio Catricalà of the Antitrust Authority will award plaques and medals to the winners next Sunday at 12 noon in the Galleria 'Alberto Sordi'.
A Committee of judges, composed of an Antitrust director, a MIUR director and two Antitrust Authority officials, assigned point ratings to decide the winning entries, which are:

FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS

1. ABRUZZO - AVEZZANO (AQ), "G. Mazzini" Primary School, group work by class IVA (now VA), teacher Ms. Maria Laura Tarquini: musical piece entitled "VIVA L’ANTITRUST” (LONG LIVE ANTITRUST), 27 points.
2-CAMPANIA – NAPLES "Giovanni XXIII" Primary School - "Spinelli" Complex, group work by IVA - teacher Ms. Patrizia D’Errico: video entitled "IO NON ABBOCCO” (I WON'T BITE), 27 points.
3- LAZIO - SEZZE (LT), Melogrosso Complex Primary School, group work by class IVB - teachers Ms. Antonietta Di Veroli and Ms. Simonetta Branchesi: illustrated story entitled "TOMMASO FICCANASO” (NOSY NELSON)”, 24 points.

FOR 1ST LEVEL SECONDARY SCHOOLS

1- CAMPANIA- VALVA (SA), 1ST Level Secondary School – “G. Pascoli,” group work by the Valva IID - teachers: Mr. di Guida Vincenzo and Ms. Dora Rescigno: video entitled "LA MALEDIZIONE DI CAPELLANDIA” (THE CURSE OF CAPELLANDIA), 27 points.
2- LOMBARDY - ROVAGNATE (LC), 1st Level Secondary School, Ics “Don Piero Pointinger,” group work by three students in IIC: Aurora Riva, Nicole Maculan and Alessia Pirovano - teachers Ms. Rosella Cagnoli and Ms. Lucia Tiralongo: illustrated story entitled “L’AVVENTURA DI NONNA LALLETTA” (THE ADVENTURE OF GRANDMA LALLETTA), 24 points.
3 - Puglia – ANDRIA (BA), 1st Level Secondary School “P. Cafaro,” comic strip by a group of five students in IIC: Anna Maria Abbasciano, Alessia Andriolo, Miriam Fucci, Marika Larosa, Grazia Molfetta - teacher Ms. Annalisa Dell’Olio: comic strip entitled “UN FUMETTO PER DIFENDERCI” (A COMIC STRIP THAT PROTECTS US), 24 points.

FOR 2ND LEVEL SECONDARY SCHOOLS

1 - LOMBARDY- VARESE, 2nd Level Secondary School-Professional School of Tourism - ITPAT "Nuccia Casula," group work by IVT - teacher Ms. Anna De Vito: video entitled “UNA VACANZA ROVINATA” (A RUINED VACATION), 27 points.
