UGF-PREMAFIN: ANTITRUST LAUNCHES INFRINGEMENT PROCEEDINGS FOR FAILURE TO SELL ASSETS

The Competition Authority approved in its meeting today, initiation of a non-compliance action against Unipol: the decision taken arises from non-compliance by the insurance group, resulting from their merger with Premafin, of the obligation to sell within a scheduled time, the assets listed in the order of June of 2012 which authorised, with conditions, the merger between the two companies.

The process must be completed by 30 June 2014.
