COMPETITION: GABRIELLA MUSCOLO SWORN IN AS A NEW MEMBER OF THE BOARD

Gabriella Muscolo, appointed by the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and of the Senate, was sworn in a member of the Competition Authority, which thus returns to having a full Board.

With a long career in the judiciary, Dr Muscolo was a judge of the specialist section for industrial and intellectual property of the Commercial Court of Rome, and has many years of experience in the areas of intellectual property, competition and consumer law. She was for two consecutive terms an Italian member of the Enlarged Board of Appeal of the European Office of Patents in Munich.  She is the author of numerous publications, both in Italy and abroad, in the field of company, intellectual property and competition law.
