Following the start of a preliminary investigation procedure, the Antitrust Authority (AGCM) adopted a precautionary measure against the company ADB INTERIOR SRLs, active in the online sale of furnishing objects, through the website www.adbinterior.it.

More specifically, the companies were ordered to suspend all activities aimed at the sale of unavailable products and charging in advance for goods that are not in stock in the warehouses or that are not ready for delivery.

The ADB INTERIOR SRLs companies must notify having carried out the provisions of the suspension provision within 10 days of its receipt.

The intervention is part of a broader strategy, long pursued by the Authority, aimed at ensuring the correct and balanced development of online sales also through the consistent repression of phenomena such as the failure to deliver goods ordered and duly paid by consumers, the obstacles in reimbursing the sums paid and exercising the right of withdrawal, as well as the disclosure of false information regarding the actual status of the purchase orders and their actual delivery times.
