In order to assess the existence of any unfair practices, the Authority sent the company A.P. Risarcimento e Consulenza S.r.l. a request for information in order to know the details, content, actual methods of use of the services offered, the contractual forms used, information provided to consumers as well as the terms and conditions and costs of joining the service.

The request was prompted by the fact that on 30 March ENPAM reported the aforementioned company for the trading practices put in place through the www.risarcimentoeconsulenza.com website and the Risarcimento e Consulenza Facebook page.

ENPAM complains, in particular, about the unfairness of the methods and content used to promote a “free” professional service, about which, however, no information is provided. Consequently, at a time of particular unease for users due to the health emergency, recipients could be led to believe that they can bring an action for damages caused by infection from coronavirus.
