The Authority deemed the practices questioned upon initiation of the investigation were serious and ongoing. Within 10 days the company will have to communicate the measures taken to cease such conducts
The Italian Competition Authority has ordered a precautionary measure against Facile Energy, temporarily suspending any action aimed at activating contracts for the supply of electricity and gas through teleselling, in the absence of a corresponding expression of the consumer's will or as a result of misleading information, omissions of information and undue conditioning.
By the precautionary measure, the Authority has also suspended the payment requests and the disconnection of supplies within the framework of pending complaints.
Following the analysis of the reports and documentation acquired during the inspection carried out after the initiation of the proceedings, the Authority deemed that the practices questioned upon initiation of the investigation were serious and ongoing.
Facile Energy will have to communicate the measures taken to cease these practices within 10 days.
