Market consultation on mergers under review pursuant to Article 16 of Law 287/1990

The Authority aims to keep markets open and transparent. When we review mergers formally notified under Article 16(1) of Law 287/1990, we invite input from market participants and other interested parties.

To this end, we publish on our website (www.agcm.it) an announcement for each merger formally notified under Article 16(1). The announcement provides key details about the transaction and invites third parties to submit comments to the Authority as part of the market consultation.

Each publication includes the names and registered offices of the parties, a short description of the nature and structure of the merger, the economic sectors concerned, and the parties’ positions in those markets.

When submitting a formal merger notification, companies must give their prior consent to the publication of this announcement.

Interested third parties may send their comments to the Authority within five working days from the date of publication.
