Award criteria

The Legality Rating is awarded through the allocation of a score ranging from a minimum of one to a maximum of three ‘stars’. The score is a summary indicator of compliance with high standards of legality and corporate ethics.

The applicant company is awarded the base score ★ where it complies with all the eligibility criteria set out in Article 2 of the Implementing Regulation on the Legality Rating. The base score may be increased by one “+” for each additional requirement that the company meets among those set out in Article 3 of the Regulation. The award of three “+” results in the allocation of an additional star, up to a maximum score of ★★★.
