How to stay informed about the Authority's activities

The Italian Competition Authority ensures that its decisions and activities are made public through a range of channels and publications.

Weekly Bulletin

Each week, we publish a Bulletin on our website featuring the latest decisions adopted by the Authority, including those on anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominant position, mergers, unfair commercial practices, and misleading or unlawful comparative advertising. The Bulletin also includes reports and market studies on key economic sectors.

Annual Report

By 31 March each year, the Authority submits its Annual Report to the President of the Council of Ministers, who then forwards it to Parliament. The report reviews the Authority’s activities over the previous year and is presented at a dedicated public event, where the Chairman outlines the Authority’s decision-making approach and key priorities.

Reports to Parliament on Conflicts of Interest

Twice a year, the Authority reports to Parliament on its monitoring activities under Law 215/2004, which governs conflicts of interest involving government office-holders.

Access to Decisions and Documents

All decisions adopted by the Authority since its establishment are available in Italian on its official website (www.agcm.it). They are organised by legal category, date, relevant market, and other criteria. The database is updated weekly, alongside the Bulletin and the public section of the Authority’s internal database.

Our website also hosts an up-to-date list of companies whose Legality Rating has been awarded, suspended, revoked or annulled, along with the relevant effective dates.

Our website provides access to documents relating to completed activities – such as decisions, studies and annual reports – as well as general information of public interest, including relevant legislation and press releases. However, information about ongoing proceedings or matters protected by professional secrecy cannot be disclosed, as established by sections 12 and 13 of Presidential Decree 217/1998.

Privacy and Transparency

To balance transparency with privacy, personal details related to cases of unfair commercial practices or misleading advertising remain searchable via external search engines for up to three years. After this period, they are moved to a dedicated section of our website that remains fully accessible to users but is no longer indexed by search engines.
